My teaching philosophy is centered on helping students see learning as an ongoing iterative process which involves examining a topic from multiple perspectives, thinking critically and inclusively. Key to this is establishing psychologically safety for students while also creating a sense of accountability. My approach involves multiple modes of engagement for both participation as well as evaluations, co-creation of an environment which encourages the sharing of ideas and thoughts from a variety of perspectives in various levels of development, and in general making the experience enjoyable and fun.

Introduction to Entrepreneurship

This course introduces entrepreneurship as a process, focusing on identifying opportunities, gathering resources, and developing a new organization. Entrepreneurship is both an individual and a team process. Therefore, this course incorporates both individual and group efforts. Taught via case discussions, lectures, in-class exercises, a group project, and supplemented with guest speakers. The material covers a variety of industries and stages of entrepreneurship capturing a diversity of founders, styles, and goals.
